On behalf of myself and my family, we’d like to thank you for the special care you took of our Dad. You are all amazing people, who have tremendous patience, respect and dedication to the residents at Briarwood. We want you to know how much we appreciate your care of our Dad and us.
All our best, Nita S. and family

ust wanted to let you know how I’m doing. I met all my physical therapy goals at home and have graduated to outpatient therapy. OP therapist is really impressed with my progress. I attribute much of that to your diligent efforts with me. You and your team have a knack for making a difficult, sometimes PAINFUL, experience fun. Thanks so much. Hope to see you again sometime. Please give my regards to Cindy too.
Regards, Arlene R.
I recently stayed at The Briarwood for rehab and wound care. I wanted to compliment the entire staff for the services they rendered to me. Two workers in Rehab reporting to the Therapy Manager were particularly kind and worked with me in a very professional manner. These two therapists need to be recognized for the outstanding care they showed me during my therapy sessions. I would again like to say “thank you” to all and certainly didn’t want to exclude anyone as I was treated with great respect.
I was so very happy to get your card. God bless all of you for your care and thoughts of me. Cannot express my feelings enough as how great and wonderful you made me feel. My best wishes & love to all of you, especially ones who cared for & helped me every day. Miss you all, will come to visit I hope when I get stronger. And God bless each of you. Sincerely and with love,
Mary A.
Thank you for the beautiful flowers you sent to me in Bill’s memory. Thank you for taking such good care of him and treating both of us in a wonderful, caring way. Sincerely,
Joan B.
This holiday season I want to thank the kind and loving staff at Briarwood for the wonderful care. Everyone from Nursing, therapy, kitchen, housekeeping and the front office. You all were so gracious and work as such a great team. My mother was very fortunate to have been in such caring hands. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You all went above and beyond to make all the residents comfortable and wanted.
Thank you for the loving care you gave to Ruth. You are a great group of caring individuals. I so appreciate the flowers you sent for the service. They were beautiful. Sincerely,
Jim G.
We want to thank you for the donation to the Holy Family School Endowment Scholarship in memory of Viola. Your concern and support, particularly in the time leading up to her hospitalization, is much appreciated. Sincerely,
Tom, Gilda and Terry

What a nice surprise to see flowers from you — on top of all the caring words and deeds in my mother’s last days! Although I had wanted to keep her at my house, she would not permit it. During the five months she spent at your facility, I grew to appreciate the caring, supportive staff and the community of Assisted Living residents. We have experienced your skill, and are thankful for it. Sincerely,
Sharon
We really enjoyed the Fall Festival. The food was great, the games were a lot of fun, and the face and hand paintings were really nice, thanks to everyone who had a hand in putting it together. You did an excellent job! Thank you!

Thank you for the loving care of my dear Dad, Charles, over the past ten years. The staff at Briarwood meant so much to Charles (and us). He loved you as family. We thank you for helping us through as his health declined, especially during his last week. And we were so touched by the many hugs and kind words the morning Dad passed. You truly comforted us. Also, the fruit basket & card were much appreciated. Thank you again & God bless you all.

I recently stayed at your facility for rehab on my left hip replacement. I came from Edwin Shaw after surgery at Aaron General on Oct. 30. I was given a list of facilities that I could attend. My son, a Stow firefighter and paramedic said, “Dad you’re going to Briarwood.” Everyone, nurses, all the therapists, aides, EVERYONE, was so helpful and so very PROFESSIONAL!! Whatever I needed, at any time, was taken care of at once. Meds, snacks, drinks. The PT and OT Depts. really helped me out, showing me exercises,a nd how to other things needed so I could go home! You have a GREAT staff there, and I’m sure other people feel the same. I would highly recommend your facility to one and all.

I needed to write to you about my first impression as I walked into your building. I was astounded how friendly each employee responded as I walked the halls. Since I have visited your establishment I’ve been pleased with the care each resident receives. I especially want to applaud every one of your staff. The very first day I was impressed how many employees spoke to me who knew my sister. Even the administration was friendly. I just thought you needed a pat on the back. What a refreshing walk through your building to be greeted with a smile. I want to thank everyone there for the treatment of my sister.
Please pass along my immeasurable gratitude to your entire staff for the care and love they gave my mother, Virginia, and my entire family. The Briarwood was her home when she came here from N.J. and it will always be a special place.

This is in recognition of the tremendous help that Melissa was to me regarding billing issues with Prime Source for my mother, Dorothy. For instance she intervened extensively in at least two errant billings, one of which was in excess of $2000. I know she invested a great deal of her time, not to mention buffering the stress for me on issues where correct information was not forthcoming. Melissa is very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go the extra mile for which I am grateful. Please acknowledge this to her in whatever ways are appropriate! Many thanks,
Sharon D.
Thank you so much for the wonderful care you gave to our aunt, Irene. We’d also like to thank you for the vase of flowers sent for her funeral. You truly made her final years warm and pleasant.

Thank you so very much for the loving care you provided to Anneliese. It took her a long time — but she considered The Briarwood home and made lots of friends there. Thanks for the donation in her name to the American Cancer Society. God Bless,
The M. Family

To the nurses and aides on the 100 wing, Jude and Susie — Thank you so much for looking after our mother during her brief stay at Briarwood. We appreciate your care and concern.

We would like to express to you our sincere appreciation for the constant care and compassion that you gave to Daisy for over 3 years. In your care we ALWAYS felt that Daisy was looked after with tenderness, love and understanding. True, many times she offered a challenge, however, your professionalism always gave us a worry free day. Thank you again for everything.

My dad Daniel spent several months at your facility. He passed away there on September 9, 2015. We are adjusting to life without our dear, sweet husband/dad/grandpa. Part of our adjustment is that we will no longer have our daily visits to Briarwood which were a part of our lives since Jan/Feb of this year. I want to thank you for our positive experience at Briarwood. We initially chose Briarwood because it was convenient for us to get my mom there easily and quickly — she lives only a mile away. We did not know at that time that the staff would be so kind & caring. Everyone treated our dad with respect and afforded him the dignity he deserved after a life well-lived. He was extremely polite & respectful all his life & so the same for him was appropriate. The staff at Briarwood did a fabulous job. Keeping us informed as to procedure, medications & all situations on a daily basis. If we had any problems, they were corrected immediately. The staff listened to our concerns and acted on them the same — always. The care conferences were very helpful & well-attended by staff who were well-informed & interested in our dad’s care. There are some staff members who I want to thank for all their help & kindness: Mary – Pleasant greeting at the front door every time. Katie – Kind nurse, always helpful. Brian – Knowledgeable and helpful. Beverly – Kept us informed regularly. Odette & Nash – Helped my dad & mom at dinner. Sue – Great Physical Therapist! Melissa – Always helped and answered our questions. Jody – Kind and hardworking. Susie – So compassionate & understanding – Awesome person. Tamara – While there, very helpful to us. Christina – So helpful and professional. There are others who contributed to our positive experience and I apologize that I do not know or have forgotten your name. You are all part of our Briarwood family and we thank you. We are pleased to see the improvements to the nursing home including the new front doors. The newly-paved parking lot was also most welcome. It is clear some more improvements must be made, but it all takes time and money. Some new carpet and baseboards have improved the overall appearance too. Our feelings about the staff: they are extremely professional, caring, helpful and kind. While we know our dad did not want to be in a nursing home but would rather be home, we are glad we chose The Briarwood for its excellent staff and are happy with the care he got while living there. Sincerely,
Brenda
May I express my gratitude for the care and attention given to my mother Janet who has recently passed away. For the past several years that our mother has been under your care both me and my sister have ben impressed by the professionalism of the Briarwood staff, all of whom have attended to our mother’s needs with great skill and humanity. Many thanks,
Jon O.
Thought I’d drop a line to let you know that I’m really getting on well. So often I’ve thought of your very good advice to ignore the dust and just concentrate on getting stronger and of course the dust will wait. I started my outpatient therapy last week. They were quite impressed with my progress at this point. I truly feel it was my early therapy with you and Tiffany that really helped me along. You made what could have been a long stay go faster. And thanks to you I had clean bedding and a lot of ice packs. Thanks! Say hi to Susan, I’ll never forget putting that puzzle together with her. Most sincerely,
Arlene R.
